Performance Psychologist / Mental Resilience & Recovery Expert

Lauren is completing her Stage 2 training to become an HCPC-registered Sport and Exercise Psychologist. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master’s in Sport Psychology and has built extensive experience across diverse sports, including rugby, rowing, gymnastics, E-sports, and her primary area of expertise—English football.In her career, Lauren has worked in Category 1 academies within Championship and Premier League settings, supporting young athletes in navigating the demands of elite sport. Now a 1st Team Performance Psychologist with a Championship football team, she focuses on enhancing players’ mental performance and resilience under pressure. Her approach incorporates acceptance-based techniques, helping athletes manage unhelpful thought patterns to sustain peak performance during critical moments.Lauren also integrates holistic practices, such as breath-work, into her work. This supports recovery, pain management, mood regulation, stress reduction, sleep quality, and physical readiness for competition. Her evidence-based, individualized strategies empower athletes to thrive mentally and physically, fostering resilience and sustained peak performance while prioritizing their overall well-being.
